Landsail brand designed to fulfil value SUV tyre demand

If the market data is right, 2024 could be another busy year for SUV tyre sales. For garages, it means more and more SUVs coming in for tyre maintenance checks or new tyres. SUV drivers don’t necessarily need to be serious off-roaders. Unintentionally, drivers often find themselves changing from smooth surfaces, such as motorways, to country lanes or off-road driveways, not to mention the number of potholes on the roads in the UK. In addition, the LS588 SUV applies the best features of the LS588 UHP in a strengthened carcass to support a heavier vehicle without losing sharpness or handling. Features which make it suitable for such vehicles and conditions are: an optimised tread pitch and alignment which reduces road noise levels at higher speeds, thanks to Landsail’s computer-aided design; added sipes and grooves improve aquaplaning resistance and provide better handling on wet roads; and a tread design that creates a much larger contact area for “better stability, cornering and control”.
