Magna Tyres introduces M-Truck commercial tyre range

Netherlands based Magna Tyres has expanded its range of commercial vehicle tyres. The M-Truck has been designed for various haulage applications – long haul, regional and construction operations – in steer, drive, all position and trailer fitments. The range incorporates a variety of features from its steel belted casing to the rubber compound designed for high resistance against punctures and other field hazards. The Magna M-Truck range is currently available in eight pattern options: RG10, RG11, RG20, RG30, RG31, CO10, C020, and CO30. The manufacturer adds that it is seeking to appoint distributors in various markets. Magna will display its truck tyre range among other products at The Tire Cologne.

The Magna RG10 is an all-position radial tyre for regional applications produced with low emission technology to give overall lower fuel consumption along with a tread pattern developed for mid to long range highway operations. The Magna RG11 is another all-position tyre incorporating a solid shoulder arrangement, excellent longevity, outstanding traction on all road surfaces and an advanced tread compound due to high scrub resistance.

The Magna CO30 is a steer/trailer axle extra deep grooved tread pattern for short to mid-haulage applications with a compound that effectively ensures improved tear-resistance. Z-shaped grooves provide impressive traction and braking performance on a variety of surfaces.

The Magna M-Truck range offers two drive axle patterns, the RG20 and CO20. With the RG20 versatile all-position tyre for regional operations capable of effectively handling any driving conditions through a rubber compound designed to improve all-round performance. The tyre also offers increased traction. The CO20 is a premium on/off road pattern incorporating impressive traction and even wear alongside a strengthened casing construction for good retreading. Also, a chip and cut resistant tread compound ensures excellent protection on rough surfaces.

Finally the RG30 and RG31 trailer patterns offer two patterns designed to provide long mileage return with an advanced heat build-up reducing rubber compound tread to increase rolling resistance and fuel efficiency. The RG31 is designed for lower rolling resistance, longer service life and lower fuel consumption.
