Goodyear a DAF ‘Master’ supplier for 3rd year

Truck manufacturer DAF has awarded Goodyear its Master rating for a third consecutive year. Goodyear says its retention of this top rating “underpins its commitment to close collaboration with OEMs.” It also considers maintaining this “prestigious status” for three years in a row to be evidence of the company’s ability to “deliver exceptional value to its customers.”
The DAF Supplier Performance Management program (SPM) evaluates suppliers based on performance in key areas including product development, operations support, and alignment with DAF’s business objectives. Suppliers are eligible for three categories: Achiever, Leader, and Master. DAF reserves the last category for suppliers that consistently exhibit outstanding performance and actively foster collaboration with DAF.
Deep-rooted partnership
“We are proud to receive the ‘Master’ rating from DAF for a third consecutive year,” says Xavier Fraipont, VP Commercial PBU EMEA at Goodyear. “This recognition is a testament to the relentless efforts of our teams to deliver high-performing products and excellent support to DAF. It also reflects the deep-rooted partnership between Goodyear and DAF, built on a foundation of trust, quality, and mutual success.
“We remain dedicated to achieving the highest standards of quality and service excellence, and we look forward to our collaboration with leaders in the HGV sector in the years to come. By prioritising the needs and preferences of our customers, Goodyear ensures that its products and services deliver value and satisfaction. This dedication to customer-centricity is reflected in every aspect of Goodyear’s operations, from product development to post-sales support,” adds Fraipont.
