Bridgend’s Tyre Boss has become the UK agent for Techking Tires. The Qingdao, China based tyre manufacturer is a specialist in OTR tyre segments, fitted to heavy machinery in a variety of applications. Its new UK agent has pressed on with ambitious growth and expansion plans in 2020. Its latest development follows the acquisition of two warehouses, a large tyre press and a successful ISO audit so far this year.

As Techking’s UK supplier, Tyre Boss has already taken delivery of its first shipment from the company, which included the following sizes:

  • 20.5R25 E3/L3
  • 20.5R25 L5
  • 23.5R25 E3/L3
  • 23.5R25 L5
  • 750/65R25
  • 445/95R25

Techking Tires produces a huge range of OTR tyres in ten different tyre tread compounds. Its full portfolio contains more than 230 patterns, meeting the needs of customers in a variety of segments.  Some 36 equipment manufacturers already use Techking tyres. Tyre Boss says it is now well positioned to support these businesses as well as machinery dealers and end users. The range of tyres complements the portfolio of cushion solid tyres that Tyre Boss manages. It also extends the company’s reach into new sectors including mining, construction, port and quarrying.

Tyre Boss states that is very optimistic about the remainder of 2020 having worked tirelessly through the pandemic; mainly to support the waste and recycling sector.  Well-known and with an excellent reputation in the construction and off-highway tyre sectors the Techking range will allow the team to extend their agile, efficient service to new customers. Whether it’s simple delivery of new tyres, pre-pressed tyres or on-site fitting, the return to work will create a demand for tyres and Tyre Boss understands the need and is well-placed to deliver a service with minimum hassle and little downtime for customers.
