Avon Tyres partners with Reifen Gundlach and Reifen Center Wolf in Germany

Date: 30th April 2020 Author: Chris Anthony Comments: 0

Avon Tyres has expanded its operation in Germany by partnering with Reifen Gundlach and Reifen Center Wolf. Under the new agreements, Avon will supply its latest car and van tyres to both companies.

Michael Lutz, sales director, Central & East Europe, Avon Tyres, said: “We are excited to add Reifen Gundlach and Reifen Center Wolf to our dealer network, and look forward to sharing our car and van ranges with them through 2020.”

Established in the UK in 1885, Avon manufactures tyres for a variety of cars, motorcycles, vans and trailers. Over the years, many iconic brands have selected Avon’s products as original equipment, including Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce. Alongside this, Avon has headlined championships such as British Formula 3 and British GT, supporting the likes of Ayrton Senna and Mika Häkkinen at the beginning of their legendary careers. To this day, pioneering research, development and manufacturing of Avon car and motorsport tyres takes place in Europe.

Reifen Gundlach, founded in 1973, has grown significantly from a garage to a major service provider with 450 employees. Meanwhile, Reifen Center Wolf is a successful family-run firm of 80 employees; it was set up in 1992 by Alexander Wolf, who is still owner and CEO of the company. Both companies operate across Germany.
