New senior developer joins CAM

John Reed has previously worked at various stages of software development for companies including NINE group, CEMAR and Xpress Software Solutions Ltd.

CAM is expanding its software development team with the appointment of John Reed as a senior developer. According to the company, his appointment “highlights the importance the business places on the CAM ecosystem in creating products that support all forms of business, from multi depot retail outlets to mobile businesses that bring services to them”.

As an experienced developer, Reed has worked at various stages of software development for companies including NINE group, CEMAR and Xpress Software Solutions Ltd. Part of his new role will see him working to optimise the software’s code as well as identifying and fixing any issues that arise during the process. He will also be tasked with creating complete software solutions, based on the feedback from end users, providing them with cost-effective solutions that enable them to increase efficiency, profitability and adapt to the changing business environment with ease.

Ryan Naughton, operations director of CAM, said: “As a business, we want to ensure our customers have access to the right solutions for their businesses, so having a development team that has a considerable amount of knowledge and expertise is paramount. John’s appointment will enhance the overall skillset of the team and provide fresh impetus when it comes to the development of new and existing products.”
