Firenza’s SUV/4×4 tyre range designed for UK, European market demands

Singapore based tyre supplier Firenza has developed three 4×4 patterns for the increasingly popular and demanding UK and European segment.

The Firenza AT-186 combines large drainage slots with fine sipes to increase drive performance and off-road handling. Centre blocks and shoulder lugs reduce noise, while two streamlined shoulder blocks enhance water drainage further. Special off-set shoulder blocks enhance traction on all types of off-terrain road surfaces, Firenza states. The Firenza AT-186 is currently available in sizes from 275/70R17 to 31×10.50R15 LT 6PR.

The Firenza HT-183 pattern includes a four groove design along with a shoulder rib formation to enable high speed cornering. The tyre is also designed to reduce noise and increase wet traction, while strong two-ply sidewalls give added protection against unexpected road hazards. The HT-183 comes in in sizes between 245/70R16 and 265/65R17.

The Firenza ST-185 also includes four straight grooves and deep sipes to improve grip on both wet and dry road surfaces. Firenza adds that the tyre’s tread design promotes accelerated drive performance; its centre rib and centre row arrangement increase overall handling capabilities. The ST-185 is available in size options from 265/60R18 to 265/50R20.

Firenza also offers an off-road fitment with its latest 4×4 tyre, the MT383, in sizes from 30×9.50R15LT up to 35×12.50R15LT.
