Mahindra & Mahindra names Apollo Tyres its ‘Business Partner of the Year’
Satish Sharma opines that “such recognitions by our OE Partners are a step towards our vision of achieving leadership position in India by 2020”
Major Indian vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra bestowed its ‘Business Partner of the Year’ award upon Apollo Tyres at its recent annual suppliers meeting. The award, the highest recognition given to any supplier for overall outstanding performance during the entire financial year, was accepted by Satish Sharma, Apollo Tyres’ Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa region president, and Sandeep Mathur, the tyre maker’s head of OEM and Institutional Business.
“Our continued delivery of technologically superior products, in addition to outstanding service, led to Apollo being rewarded by one of our leading OE Partners in India,” commented Sharma. “Such recognitions by our OE Partners are a step towards our vision of achieving leadership position in India by 2020.”
Apollo Tyres has supplied tyres to Mahindra & Mahindra’s automotive division for the past two decades.
