Marangoni Industrial Tyres has appointed Patrick Avril as general manager of its French subsidiary, Marangoni Industries Manutention, based in Louvres, near Paris. The company said the appointment confirms the Marangoni Group’s interest in the French market and further strengthens its presence in an area where, thanks to the subsidiary, it has a leading position in the sale and service of tyres for industrial handling equipment. Marangoni claims a double-digit market share in the country.

Extensive professional sales experience and in-depth knowledge of the market will certainly help Patrick Avril achieve the company’s development objectives (including expansion of the sales structure and increasing the number of mobile presses), as well as further growing Marangoni’s presence on the local market through the stipulation of partnerships with forklift truck manufacturers.

As well as administration and logistics, Marangoni Industries Manutention also supports customers not only through its own sales and technical service network, but also with numerous services and products: super-elastic, cushion and pneumatic tyres, tyre filling with polyurethane foam, and the availability of vans equipped with mobile presses that can go to the customer wherever they are to fit their tyres. In addition, two strategically-located warehouses ensure optimum organisation of the distribution network and fast deliveries to every part of the country, thus guaranteeing a complete service that can quickly meet customer requirements.
