New Apollo Vredestein distribution centre

Date: 29th July 2013 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Apollo Vredestein’s new European distribution centre recently entered service. Located in Staalsteden, near the company’s Enschede plant, the centre has the capacity to store 500,000 tyres. The company says the additional storage space is needed to accommodate growing production and sales volumes, combined with a wider product range.

“The new distribution centre in Enschede will specifically be used for the logistical processing of all Apollo car tyres imported from India to the Netherlands,” said Apollo Vredestein CEO Lius Ceneviz. “They are transported to the new European distribution centre of Apollo in a sustainable way via Container Terminal Twente. From here they are supplied to our European clients via direct deliveries or our network of warehouses abroad.”
