New Michelin site puts the spotlight on tyre dealers

Date: 26th March 2012 Author: Admin Comments: 0

A new Michelin-run website aims to help UK motorists make an informed decision when it comes to choosing a tyre dealer. As part of what the tyre maker calls a “drive to improve consumer power”, it has introduced the Tyre Dealer Reviews site, which allows motorists to leave reviews of tyre dealers and provide a rating of between one and five stars, depending on their experiences.

“At Michelin we are keen to champion consumer power and help drivers make informed choices about the tyre dealers they use,” commented Jianni Geras, head of marketing at Michelin UK. “Tyre Dealer Reviews will be a vital tool for motorists seeking the best service. It will also provide well-earned recognition for dealers who work hard to assist their customers in every possible way.”

Geras said that Michelin is urging drivers to post a review. “It’s quick and easy and will place more power in the hands of the motoring community,” he said.
