New Michelin earthmover and handling equipment website

Date: 1st August 2012 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Michelin has developed a new earthmover focused website. The new version of the michelinearthmover.com site showcases the company’s tyres for earthmovers and handling equipment. It is currently available in English and French. German, Portuguese and Spanish versions are set to appear “in the near future.”

According to Michelin representatives, dealers, users and professionals from the earthmover and handling equipment industry can find answers to their tyre-related questions on the website. In addition to presenting Michelin’s complete range of handling equipment and earthmover tyres, the website introduces new functions.

These include a tyre selector to help users quickly find the best tyre for their vehicles and needs and a dealer locator to enable users to locate and contact the dealer nearest to their workshop or site. The latter feature will be available in the UK from October 2012.

A mobile version of the website is being developed and will be rolled out in 2013, to allow access to the information on smartphones and tablet computers.
