Conti begins technology partnership with Brabus

Date: 29th September 2011 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Safer sporty driving through better synchronisation between tyre and vehicle – this is the aim of a new technology partnership agreement between tyre maker Continental and well-known German vehicle tuner Brabus. The two companies formalised their collaboration at the recent IAA motor show in Frankfurt, with Nikolai Setzer, head of Continental’s Tires division, and Brabus CEO and founder Prof. Bodo Buschmann signing the deal.

“Where the power of the vehicle is transmitted, that is where we can leverage synergies with regards to sporty driving and safety by pooling our experience,” commented Setzer. Buschmann added: “With our high performance cars and tuning components, we are banking together on the expertise of our developers to bring sportiness, comfort and safety to a new level in vehicle tuning.”
