Tyrenet now 100% “paperless”

Date: 8th April 2011 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Following the introduction of the first UniSerV application modules from Cam Systems in April 2010, independent tyre network Tyrenet is reporting a 30 per cent saving in administration time to process invoices and has gone completely paperless since the beginning of March 2011.

UniSerV enables Tyrenet to receive job sheets electronically through e-fax, e-mail or e-Pen and process them via its Document Manager module.  The system allows the tyre network to process all job data from over 700 dealers to service its customers speedily and accurately, generally invoicing its 100 customers on the same day the job is completed.

The UniSerV platform handles the call logging, customer contract management, interactive mapping and breakdown form processing requirements of Tyrenet.  Aaron Mikoleizik, operations director at Tyrenet said: “Cam’s UniSerV application suite has enabled us to streamline our operations with our service providers significantly. We have total confidence in the visibility and transparency the platform has delivered to our organisation, making us far more efficient.”

Mike Allen, managing director of Cam Systems, added: “Tyrenet is now enjoying the benefits of Straight-Through-Processing so breakdown forms are only processed by one operative in one step to update the core billing system. The company has very quickly realised the time savings and efficiencies to be gained from this commercial tyre-specific business software.”
