Yokohama to Debut ADVAN Brand at Paris Motor Show
Paris Motor Show 2004 will provide the venue for the European debut of Yokohama’s ADVAN brand, the company has said. According to Yokohama, ADVAN represents the company’s global concept, high quality products and its “spirit of pursuing high performance.” Yokohama is planning to “aggressively” develop new flagship tyre products, participate in motorsports activities and enter into co-development agreements with leading car manufacturers and tuners.
First introduced in 1978, ADVAN is associated with motorsports and high performance tyres in Japan, although its presentation at the Paris show will be its first fully-fledged introduction to the European market. At the show Yokohama will exhibit its ADVAN Sport, ADVAN ST SUV tyre, as well as its Zero Pressure System (ZPS) and support ring run flat systems. With a display area of nearly 300 square meters, Yokohama will present its products in a two-story stand.
