Heuver acquires Bevri

Date: 3rd September 2020 Author: Stephen Goodchild Comments: 0
Bevri is located in Zeewolde, Netherlands and operates tyre & wheel businesses

Netherlands-based tyre wholesaler Heuver has grown through its acquisition of the Bevri Groep, a wholesaler from Zeewolde in central Netherlands. Heuver will operate the two Bevri businesses, Bevri Banden (Bevri Tyres) and Bevri Wheels, as an independent company within the Heuver Group, retaining a separate corporate identity. The wholesaler says that by combining the strengths of both companies, it can now “offer an even more complete range” of tyres and wheels.

“We are proud that we have been able to expand our organisation in this way,” says Bertus Heuver, director of Heuver Tyres. “Bevri is a renowned tyre and wheel company, specialised in agriculture, with a rich history, just like our company. With the takeover of Bevri, we now have our own wheel production. For Heuver, this is something completely new and a perfect addition, because it allows us to deliver any desired agricultural and/or earthmoving wheel very quickly.”

Bertus Heuver adds that the acquisition of Bevri increases the range of services Heuver can offer. In addition to custom-made rims with a tolerance of just 1mm, it can now also adapt and strengthen existing rims, repair damaged rims and spray rims and powder coat them in a desired colour.
