ECP staff donate to recognise NHS work

Date: 17th April 2020 Author: Andrew Bogie Comments: 0
ECP Crawley

Staff at Euro Car Parts’ Crawley branch donated 200 Easter eggs to doctors, nurses and other key workers on the respiratory ward at East Surrey Hospital. The team raised more than £350 to put together the package, which included a handwritten thank-you note signed by every member of the branch. Branch manager Luke Hopkins said: “We recognise the amazing work done by the frontline medics in our community, and we really wanted to put a smile on their faces during this challenging time.”

After hearing that one of their customers was offering free repairs for all NHS workers, ECP’s Chertsey branch manager contacted the customer, Thorpe Garage, to see how the team could support. The branch donated a range of consumables to help the garage continue this gesture and keep key workers on the road.

ECP’s Basingstoke branch has teamed up with LKQ Basingstoke to raise over £200 to deliver PPE to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
