Berwin Industrial Polymers wins Queens Award for International Trade 2020

Clive Rickards Berwin’s sales and marketing director Clive Rickards Berwin’s sales and marketing director is “over the moon” to have won a Queens Award for International Trade 2020

Berwin Industrial Polymers, which is part of Hexpol AB, was recently named amongst the winners of the Queens Award for International Trade 2020.

Berwin products are sold internationally with key export markets in France, Germany, Belgium, Italy and Poland. Overseas sales have grown by 102 per cent over the last three years. The company wins the Queen’s Award for International Trade for Outstanding Short-Term Growth in overseas sales over the last three years.

Clive Rickards Berwin’s sales and marketing director commented: “We are over the moon to have won a Queens Award for International Trade 2020; its recognition for all the hard work put in at all levels within the company to enable its continued growth internationally as well as within its home market”.

Berwin Industrial Polymers Co Ltd reports that it will continue to develop a strong and proven portfolio of products aimed at its key industry sectors within the tyre and service matting industries with sights on continuing its global footprint expansion well into the future.

The company was established in 1957, and is based in Lydney, Gloucestershire. now part of the Hexpol AB family and dedicated to technological leadership in the development and production of high-quality rubber compounds and as such have been awarded centre of excellence within Hexpol covering Europe and Asia for all products covering tyres, retreading, matting and conveyor belting.

According to the company, the Hexpol approach involves integration of materials, recipes, mixing, customer specifications and customer processes to arrive at high quality solutions at the best price level.
