Ridge West wins AA Garage Guide’s ‘Certified Garage of the Year’

AA Garage Guide has announced Ridge West Garage in East Sussex as its first ‘Certified Garage of the Year’ award. The long-standing member of the AA Garage Guide network – Ridge West joined in November 2013 – has been proactive, engaging positively with new initiatives and consistently doing its utmost to ensure customer satisfaction, including becoming AA Certified in April 2017, AA Garage Guide stated.

The Guide added that ‘Certified’ accreditation has increased the number of bookings Ridge West has taken through the site, increasing exposure on the website and through email communications, such as MOT and service reminder emails. AA Garage Guide has awarded the business a year’s free Certified subscription, worth £1,140+VAT, alongside the ‘Certified Garage of the Year’ trophy.

Simon Trevana, garage owner, said of the award: “I’m really proud that Ridge West has been named as AA Garage Guide’s first ‘Certified Garage of the Year’. Our partnership with AA Garage Guide, especially its ‘Certified’ programme, has been really beneficial. It’s a brilliant way of increasing awareness of great local independent garages, like us.”

I was kept informed by phone and text as to all aspects of the MOT and service. I was advised of all prices beforehand and they cleaned the car as well!”

In addition to selecting Ridge West as its overall winner, three other garages have also been recognised as finalists for their impressive customer service practices. Swansea Tyre, Clutch & MOT Centre has been named the Certified Garage of the Year winner for Wales, D&G Dundee takes home the Scottish award, and EAC Telford is England’s winning garage.

Each will receive a wall plaque and a £250 voucher to spend in AA Garage Guide’s e-shop, which will be live from next month.
