ATS Euromaster has been presented with the International Safety Award by the British Safety Council. The accolade, which adds to its high tally of safety accreditations and awards, followed an assessment of ATS Euromaster’s Wishaw centre, which was found to show strong commitment to protecting the health and safety of both workers and customers.

The tyre and vehicle maintenance holds accreditation from the industry-leading Safecontractor – the first nationwide vehicle experts to do so – and Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS). ATS-E is also the only national tyre specialist to be accredited with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award, one of the highest accolades the charity can bestow on an organisation.

ATS Euromaster operates one of the largest fleets of mobile technicians in the UK and implements a number of schemes to ensure the company runs as safely as possible – including a ‘Safe by Choice’ programme, which promotes safety as a personal choice for staff.

Stan Rudowski, group head of health, safety and technical services at ATS Euromaster, says: “This is a direct result of the culture we’ve developed, where every centre and staff member works to ensure safety is at the heart of everything we do. We’re delighted that yet another organisation has recognised our commitment and success in delivering a safe working environment, and we will continue to lead the industry by setting a strong safety culture example to all.”
