KRT to support agricultural brands within 2015 exhibition calendar

KRT will display the mid-range Taurus brand alongside other exclusive brands at Lamma and Cereals

Kings Road Tyres (KRT) will support its portfolio of specialist agricultural tyres by exhibiting at two leading end-user shows in 2015. The wholesaler, which specialises in agricultural and industrial tyres will present exclusive brands such as Taurus and Maxam as highlights of KRT’s product offer first to dedicated farming and agricultural customers at Lamma, 21-22 January, East of England Showground, Peterborough. Lamma is the UK’s largest farm machinery, equipment and agricultural services show, which attracts upwards of 40,000 visitors.

In June, KRT will exhibit at the Cereals show near Lincoln (10-11 June). The latest products for farm equipment and machinery from Taurus, Maxam, Michelin, Kleber, Firestone and Tianli will be featured, covering all applications from tractor to trailer and implement to materials handling equipment

“We are firm believers in taking our products and services to end-user shows and 2015 will be another busy and productive year for us,” confirms KRT’s group operations manager, Tim Bader.  “Agricultural customers have very specific operating requirements for tyres, so they value the opportunity of seeing products at first hand and talking to our sales and technical staff about tyre design and performance.”

KRT offer one of the widest choices of agricultural tyres to the UK trade, with an extensive portfolio of premium, mid-range and budget tyres covering all sectors and applications.

It is the exclusive wholesale distributor for Bridgestone, Taurus, and Jetire and an appointed distributor for Michelin, Kleber, Firestone and Mitas. The offer also includes the budget brand Tianli, for trailer flotation tyres and a new product for tractor drive radial applications that will join the portfolio later in 2015. Maxam tyres for materials handling and construction equipment and Farmking X-ply complete the line-up.

KRT says the mid-range Taurus brand is “particularly popular”, with an extensive agricultural range including its Standard Series in pattern Point 8; 70 Series in pattern Point 70; 65 Series in pattern Point 65 and Row Crop/Narrow fitment applications in pattern Soil Saver RC95.

From its £5 million agricultural tyre inventory, KRT supplies products for all applications including standard and low profile tractor radial drive, row crop, flotation, X-ply tractor front and rear and harvester and AG industrial. These applications are complemented by the company’s range of Kingstone brand tubes.
