New consumer tyre VP for Double Coin’s US business
Double Coin Holdings’ US-based subsidiary, the China Manufacturers Alliance (CMA), has appointed Ken Coltrane vice-president of its consumer tyre business. Coltrane brings almost two decades of tyre industry experience to his new role; most of his tyre industry career was spent at Del-Nat Tire Corporation, where he held positions in export, purchasing, and also served as the company’s vice-president of marketing.
“Ken’s experience with tyre manufacturers both domestically and internationally in developing and marketing product lines will be instrumental in strengthening our market position,” said CMA vice-president Aaron C. Murphy. “His knowledge of this evolving market segment will prove invaluable to our organisation. This development is a key part of CMA’s strategic growth plan and enhances our already strong product offering and reputation.”
As vice-president of Consumer Tires, Coltrane will be focusing on passenger and light truck product development for North America. The company will be devoted to establishing consumer tyre marketing and sales strategies with the focus towards launching new products and programs at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
