IGA launches free websites for members

Date: 19th November 2012 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

"The Independent Garage Association (IGA) has now launched its website building service to its members, helping to bring additional business into their workshops and an opportunity to market their garage to the modern consumer" said Stuart James, RMI IGA Director.

An IGA survey discovered that thousands of independent garages are missing out on one of the most effective, efficient and up-to-date ways of promoting their business due to not having a website.

In order to assist IGA members with no website for their business and to help them become part of our increasingly web-focussed society, the IGA is now providing this service as an additional no cost member benefit which will enable garages to have a website built for them.

James continued: “The days of consumers picking up the phone book have long gone with research showing that 78 per cent of internet users look for local services and products online. Independent garages that don’t have a website could be missing out on potential new business just because they have no online presence.

“The IGA is committed to ensuring that all its members are able to take full advantage of internet marketing. This is why we made the decision to offer this new scheme. We can now ensure that members have the tools to promote their businesses to the best of their ability.”
