Cam appoints data expert to lead labelling project

Date: 13th March 2012 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Cam Systems has appointed Dave Ritchie to lead the company’s data management development. His initial priority is the compilation of inbound tyre data from manufacturers and importers into an online tyre catalogue which will underpin the managed service Cam Systems is offering its customers to help them steer their Tyre Labelling compliance.

Previously, Ritchie worked for Grouptyre UK Ltd for seven and a half years as its IT manager. Prior to Grouptyre, he was with Kwik-Fit for eight years and National Tyres for three years. Before that he worked for Central Tyres.

Cam Systems’ managing director Mike Allen commnted: “The fast-approaching deadline for Tyre Labelling in November 2012 highlights for me that it is important we have experienced, capable people on board to help Cam customers meet this and future industry challenges. Dave Ritchie’s appointment reflects our commitment to adopt a position of issue leadership for and with our customers, which will be reinforced by our future product and service offerings.”
