New Prius to roll on Yokohama

Date: 9th June 2011 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Yokohama Rubber has begun original equipment supply for Toyota’s new Prius ἀ, or alpha, in the Japanese market. The hybrid car, which went on sale May 13, is fitted with the Advan dB in size 205/60R16 92V.

The tyre maker describes the Advan dB as a premium comfort tyre that offers a quiet, smooth ride along with driving performance and reduced rolling resistance. The tyre’s fuel-saving qualities have been further improved using Yokohama’s BluEarth concept, the manufacturer adds; the BluEarth concept mark appears on the side of each tyre.
