Infinity and Bond Launch Retail Rebate Scheme

Date: 2nd September 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Infinity Tyres (Europe) and the authorised UK distributor of the brand’s PCR tyres Bond International have announced the launch of their new initiative to support UK customers. The Infinity Club began on 1 September and is aimed at rewarding top independent tyre dealers for their purchases of Infinity PCR tyres through Bond International. The Infinity Club – available by invitation only – will offer a monthly volume-based rebate scheme to participating dealers. The rebate will be based on net invoice values and will be paid directly to the dealer.

Infinity Clubbers will also receive special packs of Infinity-branded merchandise, while the brand says members will also carry some tactical promotions, with group hospitality trips the reward for exceptional performance. Having recently recorded record best-ever monthly sales volumes, Infinity says it is keen to consolidate and further improve its sales figures and market share.

Infinity says its manufacturing partner – China-based Shandong Linglong – continues to develop new sizes and new patterns. The company also states its long-term investment strategy is reflected in the recruitment of competitor personnel from Goodyear and Hankook, and in the recent announcement of a major investment in the building of a new test track facility.

Reg Bond, managing director of Bond International, commented: “Bond International are delighted to be the authorised distributor of Infinity tyres in the UK – the tyre is great quality, represents fantastic value and is in huge demand from our customers. The introduction of the Infinity Club is a marked demonstration from both Infinity and Bond of our joint intention to reward and recognise those loyal dealers who continue to purchase the Infinity brand. This is one way of saying a big ‘Thank You’ to those customers.”

Clive Mansfield, sales manager, Infinity Tyres (Europe) commented: “We have been working with Reg and his team for over six years and we are delighted to continue to develop and drive forward our relationship. The launch of the Infinity Club is a marked demonstration of our commitment to enhance the Infinity brand in the UK and to recognise the efforts and support of the dealer channel.”
