Al Saeedi Expands into Africa With Tyrexpress Operation

Al Saeedi Group, a leading Middle Eastern tyre distributor, has expanded its operations into Uganda. The UAE based company set up Tyrexpress (U) Ltd. on 13 April 2010. The company was inaugurated by Niraj Srivastava, High Commissioner of India in the presence of company directors, distinguished guests and customers.

According to the company, Tyrexpress is placed in a strategic location on Jinja road in the Ugandan capital Kampala. The site is said to feature “a sprawling showroom displaying a wide range of tyres.” The service centre which is attached to the showroom and has state of the art tyre changers for passengers cars, 4X4, truck, agricultural and OTR tyres; not to mention wheel balancers for truck, passenger and LCV – including a 3 D wheel aligner. Al Saeedi representatives report that the service centre is manned by “highly trained technicians to enhance customer satisfaction and expectations.”

Tyrexpress stocks tyre brands such as JK Tyres, Altura, Solideal and Aufine tyres, offering a similar range to the premium brands and international brands such as Solideal (solid, pneumatic and industrial), Neuton (passenger car and 4×4 tyres), Maitech off-the road radials, Aufine truck tyres and Altura that parent company Al Saeedi carries.
