Nutahara Takes Second P-WRC Win

Date: 5th September 2006 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Yokohama ADVAN-equipped and supported Japanese driver Fumio Nutahara took his second rally win of the season in the FIA Production car World Rally Championship on Rally Japan in early September. This brings his total to two wins from three events so far and he is now second in the championship with three more scoring opportunities.

The P-WRC consists of eight of the rallies making up the FIA World Rally Championship. Drivers choose two events of the eight to miss at the beginning of the season and the six they contest form their score. Nutahara has three events to run with a potential points haul of 30, against series leader Nasser Al-Attiyah, who is 14 points ahead of Nutahara and has two more events left to score, with a possible 20 points available.
