Goodyear Dunlop Exec Awarded ‘Market Leader’ Opportunity

Date: 9th February 2006 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Goodyear Dunlop Tyres UK Ltd has announced that Geraldine McGovern, E-Business & Digital Manager has been accepted to take part in the prestigious Marketing Leaders Programme run by the Marketing Society. The Marketing Leaders Programme draws on the experience of the society’s senior members and Fellows and also utilises the training skills developed by Brand Learning. The programme was developed following an intensive period of consultation with leading marketing directors.

Goodyear Dunlop recently promoted McGovern into the position of E-Business & Digital Manager for all corporate brands as the increasing importance of the web and the need to develop the company’s e-business strategy was seen as crucial to the future needs of the company. She previously worked for the company as Dunlop Brand Manager, developing a clear brand strategy for Dunlop as a sporty performance tyre brand for drivers of high and ultra-high performance cars.

“This is an outstanding opportunity for me to benefit from the experience of some of the leading academics, and marketing learning specialists and practitioners in the country,” Geraldine McGovern commented. “I will be representing the company alongside fellow marketeers from top UK blue chip companies and am sure that the programme focus on strategy and leadership will significantly enhance my contribution to my new role as E-Business & Digital Manager.”
