Doublestar working with Huawei on 5G tyre network

The Doublestar Group reports that it has signed a cooperation agreement with information and communications company Huawei. According to information posted by Doublestar, the partners will utilise their respective strengths to develop the infrastructure for a 5G network over which tyre pressure, temperature and wear data can be transmitted and shared between vehicles and companies in real-time.

Putting ‘Pirelli logo’ on phones no smart decision – Huawei loses lawsuit

Company News

Tyre maker Pirelli has won its trademark infringement lawsuit against Huawei. A Turin court (Tribunale di Torino) ruled that although the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer may still launch an upcoming product under the ‘P8’ name, the company will no longer be able to use a logo that Pirelli claims too closely resembles its trademarked ‘elongated P’ logo.
