
Dunlop becomes official tyre partner to inaugural FIM Intercontinental Games
Dunlop has been appointed as the official tyre partner to the first-ever FIM Intercontinental Games (ICG). The event will take place at the Circuito de Jerez on 30 November and 1 December, 2024, coinciding with the FIM’s 120th anniversary. Dunlop will supply tyres from its renowned KR racing series to 48 competitors from 19 nations, representing the six continental teams. The Games unite all six FIM Continental Unions for the first time, offering a platform for young riders to compete on an international stage. The inaugural ICG will be dedicated to circuit racing, featuring two classes, Supersport and Supersport 300 with riders competing on Dunlop-equipped Yamaha R7 and R3 bikes in each of the two classes, respectively.

Yokohama Tire will complete the 2024 Porsche Endurance Challenge North America series in Austin, Texas when it fits its Advan A005 slicks exclusively to the grid. The one-make racing event takes place on 22-23 November at Circuit of The Americas (COTA), closing the four-race inaugural season with a six-hour finale following three 60-minute races. For this six-hour event, teams of two to three drivers compete for class wins in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport or a 911 GT3 Cup (Type 992) race car. Pirelli wins 82nd Motocross World Championship title with Jorge Prado
Jorge Prado (RedBull GasGas Factory Racing) clinched the MXGP title in the final grand prix of the 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship. His GasGas MC 450F ran on the Pirelli Scorpion MX32, making it 82 motocross world titles for the Italian tyre brand. Pirelli says the 2024 season was “a record season” for its riders, winning 19 out of a total of 20 Grands Prix, with 18 pole positions plus 37 out of 40 heats won.
