Vaculug joins TRA
Vaculug, Europe’s largest independent retreader, joined the Tyre Recovery Association (TRA) as a full member back in September, according to the Autumn/Winter TRA newsletter, which was published at the end of November.
Here’s how Vaculug representatives described the rationale behind TRA membership: “In a world where environmental concerns have become paramount, it is genuinely heartening to see the TRA leading the way in sustainable practices within the tyre industry. Your dedication to tyre recycling, retreading, and circular economy principles demonstrates a commendable commitment to reducing the environmental footprint associated with tyre disposal.
“TRA’s tyre recycling initiatives, safety standards, and ethical guidelines align perfectly with the responsible and sustainable ethos that Vaculug represents. Together, we are setting an inspiring example for the industry and proving that success can be achieved while prioritizing the well-being of our planet. Vaculug’s retreading programmes not only reduce waste but also contribute significantly to reducing carbon emissions and conserving valuable natural resources. This dedication to environmental responsibility is essential in a world striving to combat climate change and preserve our ecosystem for future generations.”
