Petlas launches new SnowMaster 2 Sport winter tyre

Petlas’s new SnowMaster 2 Sport winter tyre seeks to “define excellence in winter tyre performance”, according to the Turkish tyremaker. Company representatives report that the latest offering is “a testament to Petlas’ dedication to innovation, safety, and performance…”
Petlas has engineered the new SnowMaster 2 Sport to be “the symbol of a reliable winter tyre”. To that end, SnowMaster 2 Sport is designed to offer “short braking distances and superior handling, on snowy roads”. This is achieved via “a leap forward in tread pattern design”. And that means “a reimagined asymmetric tread pattern” which “significantly boosts adaptability across a broad spectrum of road conditions”. This tread’s asymmetric design “ensures maximum road contact, guaranteeing unparalleled stability and grip no matter the road conditions”, company representatives write.
In addition, a wider outer side and interconnected reinforced blocks plus three circumferential channels enable the efficient evacuation of water and snow at high speeds.
Petlas reports that it is making the SnowMaster 2 Sport at “Europe’s largest tyre factory” at the hands of its own workforce of 5,000 employees and a total closed area of 450 thousand square metres.
