William and Kate meet with Michelin staff in Dundee

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have met with Michelin Dundee stakeholders as part of a visit to officially open Dundee’s V&A Museum of Design.

During the trip the royal couple met with representatives of the Michelin Action Group who are exploring ways to secure a sustainable for the site following news of its impending closure.

Prince William told the Michelin Action Group members they deserved “huge credit”, adding: “Both of us, and all the people we have spoken to today are willing you all on to succeed.”

In addition to the Michelin Action Group members, Michelin employees and their families were among those who met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
