Micheldever and tyre manufacturers raise £7000 in charity auction

Tyre wholesaler Micheldever Tyre Services and a number of its tyre manufacturer suppliers recently raised £7000 in a charity auction in aid of Motor Neurone research on 21 September 2018. Micheldever executives thanked the tyre manufacturers (Bridgestone, Continental, Falken, Goodyear, Michelin, Pirelli and Yokohama for their “exceptional generosity”.

The charity auction took place at a dinner dance held in Lower Boddington, Northants, where the bulk of items were donated by tyre manufacturers in association with Micheldever.

Commenting on the event, Micheldever wholesale director Alan Baldwin stated: “Motor Neurone is a terrible disease, with still very little known about it, and many of us will have lost friends, family and colleagues to its terrible consequences.  Thanks to the generosity of Bridgestone, Continental, Falken, Goodyear, Michelin, Pirelli and Yokohama we were able to help the incredible fund-raising efforts going on nationwide every day to further research into Motor Neurone.”
