The GitiSynergyE1 was developed in Germany, passing testing programmes at Mira, UK, Idiada, Spain, and ATP, Germany, intended to prove original equipment quality. Designed to reduce rolling resistance, while providing better drive and braking performance in the wet and dry, the tyre features a new ECO high performance compound and ultra-curve profile. Giti is already a supplier of OE tyres to the Volkswagen Group in the USA, Brazil, and China.

Martin Wells, key account director for original equipment manufacturers added that the latest agreement is “a milestone” for the manufacturer in Europe. Giti’s focus on OE in the past three years has seen investment and new appointments based out of the company’s European headquarters in Germany.
