SMMT appoints new Commercial Vehicle Group chair

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has appointed Nigel Butler, who is commercial director of Renault Trucks, as the new chair of its Commercial Vehicle Group.

Up till now, the Commercial Vehicle Group has been chaired by Penny Randall who has reportedly moved on to “a new role within the industry”.
