Tyre involvement in Autopromotec growing

With Autopromotec kicking off in just over a week, the organisers of the aftermarket show (which runs 20-24 May 2015) have confirmed “the success recorded in the halls devoted to tyres and tyre equipment”.

The recent changes in the regulatory framework, in particular the introduction of tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), have provided positive input for the tyre industry, and all exhibitors will be displaying interesting innovations in terms of products, as well as diagnostic and programming tools. As proof of the great excitement about this sector, the halls devoted to tyres and tyre equipment were the first to sell out despite widening: hall 31, part of hall 15 and external area 42 were thus added to the halls originally intended for tyres (halls 19, 20 and 22).

In Bologna, visitors will be able to meet leading tyre companies and tyre equipment manufacturers, as well as retread professionals: from manufacturers of retreaded tyres, retreading equipment, materials and products to waste tyre operators. Autopromotec 2015 will also host two important international events for the tyre retreading industry: the Bipaver (European Retread Manufacturers Association) general assembly on 21 May and presentation of Alarneu (Latin-American Retread Manufacturers Association), during which the current situation of the Latin-American tyre industry will be analyzed and strategies to cope with change in market trends will be delved into.
