Trust My Garage raise funds for BEN

The Trust My Garage Charity Challenge teams, the Northern Numpties and the Southern Softies have raised the impressive sum of £8,500 for the automotive charity BEN.

The challenge, which was to visit the most TMG members using a route planned by using only the TMG website, was won by the Southern Softies who visited 85 garages during the four day event.

Independent Garage Association Director Stuart James said, “This has been a great event and we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our TMG members.  As well as raising valuable funds for BEN, it has increased the awareness of the Trust My Garage Brand, demonstrating to consumers that wherever you are within the UK, you are never far away from an independent garage that will offer great service and great value. I would like to thank our independent garage members, many of whom have arranged events of their own to promote the brand and our sponsors for supporting this event and very worthy cause”.

Nigel Williams BEN’s Commercial Development Manager added, “I would like to pass a huge thanks to everyone who has taken part in this fantastic event, the IGA who made it all possible, the BEN staff who supported us, but most of all the sponsors and garages who have generously supported us during the week. A lot more people know about BEN’s work as a result!”
