Moscow office to aid Cooper’s drive into Russia

Date: 26th September 2013 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Cooper Tire has shared details of the sales office it has set up in Moscow. Alex Kolkov heads the office as sales manager; he joined Cooper Tire after serving in leadership positions at multinational companies with sales and production facilities in Russia, including Paulig Rus LLC and Sappi.

“Russia holds great opportunity as Cooper continues to build our customer base throughout the region,” said Cooper Tire Europe managing director Jeff Schumaker. “With the acquisition of the Cooper Serbia production facility in Kruševac, Serbia, which began operating just over a year ago, Cooper products can be brought to the market and better meet customer needs through the new sales office. Cooper Tire is committed long term to the Russian market and looks forward to maintaining its existing customer relationships and establishing new ones in the region.”
