Maxam reports successful AIMEX show

Date: 26th September 2013 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

AIMEX, the Asia-Pacific International Mining Exhibition, is one of the most important shows of its kind in the world. Held recently at the Sydney Olympic Park, this year AIMEX attracted over 650 exhibitors and more than 12,700 visitors.

A first-time exhibitor this year was industrial and OTR radial tyre manufacturer Maxam Tire, which showed 11 tyres from its line-up, ranging from smaller industrial tyres up to the brand new, MS 403 giant OTR radial in size 33.00 R51.

Maxam brought staff over from its Luxembourg headquarters to man the stand, assisted by representatives from the company’s partners and regional dealers. “We wanted to make a real impression, hence the large stand and number of exhibits and, judging from the interest and number of visitors to our stand over the four days, we certainly succeeded,” commented Maxam Tire CEO

Ian Thomas.

“It was a terrific show for us,” he added, “not only in terms of the number of visitors but for the quality of the enquiries. These specialist exhibitions are a vital part of our marketing strategy and we will be showing Maxam tyres at shows in Essen, Beijing and Las Vegas to emphasise our global presence.”
