Remy introduces new steering pumps, racks

Date: 9th January 2013 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Remy Automotive UK Ltd has introduced 25 new steering pumps and five new steering racks for popular vehicle applications to its range of parts, which now totals well over 2,000, covering more than 20,000 car applications. These are said to be the first of many new steering references which Remy plans to develop during the course of this year.

New introductions to the range for popular vehicle applications include steering racks for the Nissan Qashqai, Fiat Panda, Vauxhall Meriva and Toyota Rav 4. New steering pumps introduced include the very popular electric mini steering pump, Ford Focus II  & S Max, Honda Civic VII, Vauxhall Vectra, VW Polo and the BMW 5 series.

The Remy steering range covers more than 95 per cent of the UK car parc, the company claims. All Remy steering racks and pumps are remanufactured to the highest quality standards under ISO 9001:2008 and come with a 24-month warranty. Remy says a continuous research and development programme ensures that this extensive product range is covered, while each unit is tested using “the most stringent state-of-the-art test equipment”.

“This is part of our ongoing range development to create strong sales opportunities for the UK Aftermarket by ensuring the Remy range offers the best car parc coverage in the UK,” says Michael Flensborg, Sales & Marketing director of Remy Automotive UK. “In addition, our aim is to always offer top quality products at competitive prices.”
