Tyregiant.com pre-launches new tyre e-tail site

Date: 3rd August 2011 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Tyregiant.com, backed by well-known UK tyre wholesaler Bond International, has been pre-launched today with the firm offering a taster of what the “the online pit stop for fantastic quality tyres at discount prices” has to offer. According to the company, the winning news is that by dealing directly with factories throughout the world they can offer up to 50 per cent savings on leading brands, beating competitors who claim to offer up to 40 per cent off. For full details see future issues of Tyres & Accessories.

Boasting 40 years’ experience in the retail trade, Tyregiant through its wholesale parent sells more than 2.5 million tyres a year. Now the company reports that it is making it even easier for consumers to order new tyres with their new online discount service. With around 500,000 tyres in stock, they offer the cheapest online tyre prices sourced directly from factories around the world.

The site claims to offer drivers the opportunity to shop around for tyres in the comfort of their own home, with Tyregiant.com supplying all the leading tyre brands and more such as Dunlop, Goodyear, Continental, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Michelin, Firestone, Yokohama and Marshal.

Despite being a new venture Tyregiant.com reports that it operates a network of more than 600 accredited fitting centres nationwide and has a fleet of over 100 vehicles delivering directly to fitting stations, Tyregiant promise to make sure the tyres ordered reach the fitting station exactly when they say they will, at a time to suit the customer.

Tyregiant.com also offers a full telephone help service on 0800 652 0761 where operators already process 10,000 enquiries every day.

So how does Tyregiant’s new online process work? Customers simply log on to Tyregiant.com, choose the tyres they want and examples on the Price Check Tab will pop up on the website.

The next step is to choose a local fitting centre and click on a time that suits them. Then they hit the checkout. The whole process is described as “simple and intuitive” with all prices fully inclusive and no hidden extras.
