NETE Promotes Dedicated Staff

Date: 13th February 2008 Author: Admin Comments: 0

North Eastern Tyres and Exhausts (NETE) has appointed a new depot general manager at its Middlessbrough depot and a new retail manager in Goole. Darren Boreland, 29, from West Cornforth, has been promoted from reception manager, a position he has held for the past 18 months, to general manager at the Middlesbrough depot.

Boreland’s new role will see him oversee the running of the Middlesbrough depot as well as continuing to implement the company’s ethos of providing first class customer service. Commenting on his promotion, Boreland said: “I am really pleased to be given this opportunity as North Eastern Tyres really is a car care specialist with a difference. I am looking forward to not only meeting company goals but exceeding them, in order for the company to continue its rapid growth.”

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Martin Stones, from Drax, has been promoted from workshop manager to retail manager at the company’s Goole depot, where he has played an integral role for the past seven years.

Gavin Marshall, managing director of North Eastern Tyres and Exhausts, said: “I am extremely proud of both Darren and Martin for their dedication to us and sincerely wish them the best of luck in their new roles. I am confident that their knowledge and expertise will serve both outlets well. I know they will both ensure our customers continue to receive the best possible service.”

In addition to general car tyre services, North Eastern Tyres and Exhausts also provide MOT’s and services as well as wheel alignment and exhaust services. The Middlesbrough depot was recently named a Pirelli Performance Centre, which, according to one of the world’s premier tyre manufacturers, highlights the UK’s most professional tyre retailing depots.
