Passenger Car Centre Opens In Malaysia

Date: 22nd January 2008 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Towards the end of last year, Heap Heng Tayar Sdn. Bhd., in partnership with Continental Sime Tyre (CST), opened the first BestDrive Continental Passenger Car and Light Truck (PLT) Centre in Kedah, Malaysia.

To date, seven BestDrive Continental PLT Centres have been opened throughout Peninsula Malaysia, with more to come, says Choong Kee Seng, Sales Director at CST. The concept of the centres is to provide a broad range of car and light truck-related services, aimed squarely at the premium customer segment.

The branding is uniform and very up-market, with everything designed to make the experience as stress-free as possible for customers. Great attention is paid to the layout of the centre and the customer environment and the following services are offered as standard: free wi-fi, free drinks, free 10-point safety and maintenance check and a free service reminder, including the vehicle’s service history.

In line with other BestDrive PLT Centres, Heap Heng Tayar Sdn. Bhd. offers a range of premium, Continental brand tyres, including ultra high performance products for the growing number of motorists whose vehicles fall into this category. Continental tyres are complemented by the Dunlop and Sime Tyre brands, offering a range of products to suit all sectors of the Malaysian motoring market.

In addition to products, a wide range of services is on offer, including wheel balancing and alignment, filling with nitrogen gas and tyre repairing by a team of trained specialists, all using state of the art equipment. Currently, the Heap Heng Tayar Sdn. Bhd. group has two outlets and is celebrating its 20th year in the tyre business.
