Trailer Full of Tyres Dumped in Lay-By

Date: 12th June 2006 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

The Environment Agency continues to investigate after a trailer full of tyres was dumped in the A41 lay-by in Tushingham. The trailer bears Iceland’s livery but, according to Cheshire Online, was sold to George Simmonds & Son Commercial of Bristol, a trailer dealership, in 2004. An Iceland spokesman told Cheshire Online: ”We no longer sell trailers to them as we have a condition that our livery is removed before the trailer is reused.”
