Strong Pirelli Presence at Geneva

Date: 3rd March 2006 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Pirelli’s reputation as a supplier of high performance tyres for some of the world’s most glamorous cars was enhanced by a number of prestigious fitments at the 76th Geneva International Motor Show.

Among the premieres on Pirelli tyres was the Ferrari 599 GTB, the Lamborghini New Murcielago, the Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon and Spider, the Volvo S80 and the Peugeot 207. Other models at the show fitted with Pirelli P6 and P7 high performance tyres included cars from Jaguar, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Volvo.

On the concept car scene, Pirelli supplied tyres for the four-door Aston Martin Rapide sports car, the Lamborghini Miura, Isotta Fraschini and “Oltre Fiat”, based on the new military “off-road” vehicle from Iveco.
