Yokohama Launches Two New Tyres at SEMA

Date: 9th November 2005 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

(Akron/Tire Review) Continuing its emphasis on its sub-brand products, Yokohama Tire Corp. launched two new tyres during last week’s SEMA Show – the Advan S.4 all-season UHP, and the Parada Spec-X for the custom/tuner market segment.

The Advan S.4, which replaces the Yokohama AVS dB S2 line, targets premium vehicles, such as the BMW 745i and Audi A8, said Yokohama. The directional M+S rated tyre is available in 30 sizes covering 16- through 19-inch fitments. The V-, W- and Y-rated tire has a UTQG rating of 400AA.

The Parada Spec-X was developed for consumers looking for “that edgy/stylish look” and on-road performance. An all-season tyre, the Spec-X is available in 22 sizes for light trucks, SUVs and larger sedans, covering 20- to 24-inch wheel diameters.
