Date: 6th October 2004 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Yokohama Rubber Co, Ltd has announced that its flagship sport tyre Advan Sport has been as the 20 inch option tyre for the Bentley Motors Continental GT. The Continental GT is the first Bentley model to have Yokohama tyres fitted as original equipment. Bentley has adopted the 275/35ZR20 for the Mulliner Driving Specification Continental GT, on both front and rear axles.

The Continental GT, launched in 2003, is the fastest 4-seater coupe in the world. The car described by Yokohama as “the ultimate British Grand Tourer” has a maximum speed of 198mph (318km/h) and can accelerate from 0-60mph 4.7 seconds. It is recognized as the ultimate British Grand Tourer with its high level of craftsmanship and impressive dynamics.

Yokohama Rubber and Bentley Motors jointly developed the 20 inch tyre specification to optimise the driving performance of the Continental GT. Consequently a “B” logo is marked on the products sidewall showing that the tyre is exclusive to Bentley.
