Network Q has renewed its association with British rallying after becoming the Official Event Preparations Partner of the 2016 Dayinsure Wales Rally GB which takes place from 27-30 October. The partnership will see the used Vauxhall brand supply over 50 vehicles to help with the set-up and preparation of this year’s British round of the FIA World Rally Championship. A variety of vehicles will be used to set up the rally, from laying out the special stages, to signposting visitors to car parks and viewing areas.
Network Q was title sponsor of Britain’s round of the FIA World Rally Championship for 10 years between 1993 and 2002. Last year saw the used Vauxhall brand renew its link to the event when it sponsored the WRGB National Rally as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.
The partnership deal forms part of Network Q’s ‘Preparation is Everything’ campaign, which is designed to highlight the extensive preparation process each Network Q vehicle undergoes before sale. Throughout the campaign Network Q is working with a number of organisations in addition to Wales Rally GB, including the England Women’s Football team to demonstrate how correct preparation is vitally important for optimal performance.
Clare White, Network Q Marketing Manager, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the preparations for the 2016 Wales Rally GB event this year.
“Our ‘Preparation is Everything’ campaign highlights the importance of meticulous preparation. There is a huge team that works behind the scenes to prepare for the event and we hope that the loan of our vehicles will help to ensure the smooth running of the set-up of the 2016 Wales Rally GB.”
Ben Taylor, Managing Director of Dayinsure Wales Rally GB, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Network Q back to the event this year. The preparations for an event of this scale are on-going throughout the year and in the week of the rally alone we call upon in excess of 200,000 man hours from our dedicated team of volunteers. The vehicles that will be provided by Network Q will play a valuable role in ensuring the smooth preparations for the rally and will help make this mammoth task a great deal more efficient.”
